Amy trained in Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Roger and Albina Rippy of YogaOneHouston, Restorative Yoga with Jillian Pransky at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, Prenatal Yoga with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa of Golden Bridge Yoga, Santa Monica, and Traumatic Stress, Resiliency and Healing through Yoga with Yoga International. She has been teaching yoga to anyone she can get to sit with her since 2013 and the owner of Feel Better With Yoga since January 2015. After closing her physical studio in October 2020, she now brings yoga (virtually) to anyone with a computer screen or phone.

Amy is a Registered Nurse of thirty years,
an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher-200, a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher, and writer whose passion lies in helping others to feel better..
She believes that everyone, including the inflexible, the injured, the elderly, the sedentary, the chronically ill and the stressed or anxious, not only can do yoga but need yoga as much or more than anyone else.
No matter your needs or limitations, you will benefit. In part due to the physical movements, but in greater part due to yoga's ability to help us to calm and self-soothe.
