Vinyasa Yoga incorporates the breath with the flow of the poses, thus achieving a fluid, dance-like "meditation in motion". Vinyasa can range from slow and gentle for beginners to dynamic and vigorous for those who want a more intense workout. during their mindfulness. Modifications are always taught and encouraged, with an emphasis on safety as well as listening to one's own body. Both gentle and vigorous are available, depending on your body and your goals and needs.
Sun Salutations are used to warm and stretch the muscles and then to fluidly transition from each standing pose to the next. Each part of the body is stretched and strengthened before coming into a final resting pose and state of conscious relaxation, allowing you to fully enjoy the work that you have done.
"Yoga is not about touching your toes, it is what you learn on the way down."
